Chenille Plant description

A striking trailing plant with long, bright crimson, fluffy tassel-like flowers that appear in Summer and Autumn. These resemble a fat, hairy caterpillar.

It grows to approximately 30cm in height and 50cm in width making it perfect for hanging baskets and pots. It is also a nice addition to borders in warm climates.

Plant cultivation and care

Thrives in a warm, sheltered position free from frosts. Will tolerate part sun to light shade. No full sun. Keep well watered during warmer weather.

Propagate from tip cuttings taken in early Autumn.
