Prince of Orange description
This genus includes around 400 species of tropical plants mostly native to Asia and Africa (although some species are found in Australia).
Prince of Orange is an spectacular evergreen shrub growing to a height and spread of around 2m. The plant has glossy green pointed leaves with very showy orange/scarlet flower heads from Spring to Autumn. It can also be found in white, yellow, pink and red flowering forms.
Prince of Orange grows particularly well in Queensland and tropical climates.

Plant cultivation and care
Grow in a sunny to lightly shaded position in moist, well drained soil. Protection from very hot, direct sun and wind is advised. These plants can be successfully grown indoors if it is warm at night and a lot of light is available. Feed regularly.
Propagate from 5cm cuttings in a warm location. Can also be grown successfully from seed.

Shrubberies, screens, hedges, pots, tropical gardens, indoors (in suitable conditions).
Pruning
Prune in early Winter after flowering to promote compact growth.
