Little Gem description
This compact Magnolia is an excellent addition to any garden that requires a beautiful specimen tree. Little Gem forms a narrow column shape, growing to 4-5m in height and 2.5m wide over 15 years or so.
The perfumed flowers are creamy-white and are produced in Spring and Summer from a young age. The distinctive leaves are glossy green above and coppery brown underneath.

Magnolia grandiflora ‘Little Gem’ thrives in a full sun to part-shade position in fertile, well drained soil. Avoid strong or salty winds and frost. Water well in warm months and mulch well.
Propagate from semi-hardwood cuttings in Summer.
