Rain Lily description
Zephyranthes candida is a grass-like, bulbous plant originating from tropical America.
The plant grows to about 20cm by 20cm and has a tendency to suddenly produce lovely white funnel-shaped flowers after Summer rain periods and in Autumn.
They do best in warm, full sun to part-shade gardens where they can be left undisturbed. In cold areas, plants should be lifted in Winter.

The Rain Lily is quite hardy and tolerates average soils although they prefer a rich soil with ample water. Protect from winds.
In warm climates, leave alone for 4-5 years then divide and replant if desired.
