Brachyscome plant description

Low growing, mound shaped Australian perennials which make an excellent addition to native gardens. They grow to a height of approximately 25cm and display softly divided foliage and an abundance of daisy-like flowers throughout the warmer months.

There are many varieties readily available ranging in colour from pink, mauve, purple, blue and white.

Plant cultivation and care

Brachyscome requires a well drained soil in a dry, full sun position. They will tolerate fairly average soils but do not like frosts. They are drought tolerant making ideal for coastal gardens and gardens where available water is minimal.
